Maybe document things until there is a pivotal moment in her life and then give it to her (say...High school graduation) then you can start another one after that. It'll be something that she will have long after I am gone and hopefully provide her with some great memories.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The molsekine really is an awesome journal. I mean - who's to argue with Van Gogh, Picasso and Hemingway.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Now I'm wondering when I should let her know about the journal. I don't have children, but I would be really touched if I received something like this from my mother.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Anywho, I though I would just mention the fact that I use Moleskin journals as well. Even the paperback versions that are sold in a pack of three are fantastic because they fit in my purse and even have a pocket in the back to stuff things in.
