Well , last December my husband was laid off. Come February we had to make a very difficult choice. We ended up walking away from our home selling our cars and moving to another city so that my husband could go back to school full time. We have 2 children a 5 year old girl and a 14 month old boy. My husband is enrolled in a Computer Network Administrator course. He needs a laptop as one of the supplies required. The money we had went to our move. I know that times have changed and computers are a requirement in most schools nowadays but what are people like us who dont have the money to just go out and buy one , who have a hard enough time trying to buy diapers and food supposed to be able to afford one. He has to have one and we cant buy one. My husband is a very good man and he tries hard to make sure we at least have our basics for living covered. He drives a Taxi everyday after school til about 12am comes home to study then gets back up at 6am to do it all over again. He will graduate in May 2010 and he has come so far. He has chosen to go full time year round just so he can graduate asap so that he can get a good job , so he can be able to provide once again for our family. I just really pray that us not being able to buy a laptop for school wont cause problems with the school because of it being a requirement. We received a add about the HP giveaway last month and I have been entering everyone of them but have yet to come across some luck.
