My Life…

I've been thinking about writing something like this for a while now. I took a notebook and Wrote one letter of the alphabet on each page. I am starting to write everything I can when I think of it. Its been a real good thing for me. These are all things I have currently decided to add to my notebook. It really helps to see life in a new way when you think of all the good you can bring of it. Through high school, I had a notebook of all things I hated, I realize now that might be why my high school years were so miserable for me. I pushed everyone away except those closest to me. Turned 21 last week, and it was the best birthday of my life, as I realized just how much I have changed my life around, as we had to rent the entire place out, because of how many people showed up to have fun with me.

I Hope doing something like this can help others as much as it helps me.

Re: Can You List 50 Things You Love?

Food!!! It did help me when my mentor took a look at it and gave me his point of view. That allowed me to narrow down a few things and get me on the right track.

I'd love to hear more from you on breaking it down into steps and where to go next. You have my email :-)

Re: Can You List 50 Things You Love?

Well, I guess you could try to list people but I avoided listing people in my 50 things. I approached it as a way to find the things in life (not people) that I'm passion about and use it as a way to focus on a new career or a new hobby. I needed to find some balance in my daily activity and this list helped me realize that I love certain things and now I'm trying to surround myself with those things.

Re: Can You List 50 Things You Love?

Things I really "love"? I'm not sure I could get past 10. Unless there is a long list of people.

Re: Can You List 50 Things You Love?

Great post Tyler. I had done something similar to this a couple of years ago. It really helps you focus without putting pressure on just 1 choice.

Of course the next step is boiling down the list to a handful of things you actually want to act on, then setting up goals to attain them. This can be difficult for a parent (let alone anybody), but IT IS POSSIBLE.

We just need to break it down into steps that we can manage. This is a HUGE first step. But remember: positive thinking, without positive action gets you positively nowhere.

Peace!

babbo
http://www.daddybrain.wordp...

Re: Can You List 50 Things You Love?

Wow...what a great idea!
