Building Camelot: About Tyler

I lived for a time in Cordova--out when they were building Fort God. I miss Memphis.

    Great blog. I'll be back.

    Aaron:
Thanks for coming by. I appreciate your comments and I do hope that you visit again.

Memphis does get a lot of bad press, but it's really not that bad. It's a good size city and there are things to do if you know where to look.

I've never heard the term "Fort God" - that's pretty funny! I'm waiting for them to start growing crops and digging for oil so they can have their own little compound.

I spent five years in Memphis. I am more of a Mid-towner myself. However, I agree that Memphis get a bad rap. I love and miss that town. My favorite nickname for "Fort God" is "Six Flags Over Jesus."

Great site here! My in-laws lived in West Memphis, AR, for a few years so I actually got to go to Graceland and probably would have never made the trek there unless they did.

    Hey Tyler,
Treasure those little ones while you can still hold them in your lap. They get big fast! We have raised 4 kids and the wife would have a few more if I would let it happen...
I have added your site to my blogroll- this is such a great resource for dads and husbands. Stop by and say HI sometime at my really new blog www.manmailsite.com. We talk about marriage, kids and anything related.

    Blessings!
