I am so happy for you - so incredibly happy that you're able to write this letter, to open your mind to the idea that someday he may appear. But we have to let them, don't we?

You're moving on... you're healing. Such a beautiful thing. And yes, you survived to be only stronger!

You know, this is awesome. A perfect letter; leaving nothing unsaid. I couldn't have said it better myself! May I use this with my next husband, as well? Maybe even build it into a prenuptial agreement? :-)

Jennifer, That was pretty incredible. I admire your strength and commitment to those beautiful beings you created.

I did not know you before and am grateful you posted here. I have your site open in another tab so I can dig in a bit more. Twitter follow to follow. - all the best.

@Jennifer- Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a wonderful post. It has added immense value here and is nothing I could have written.

Wow, how nice to see some old friends here and some new. Thank you all for your wonderful feedback.

Kudos, to every single one of you too. We all as parents do the best we can everyday.

We may not be perfect, but the point of having confidence in yourself is being able to get up everyday and do it again.

Thanks for the blog love :-)

Hi Treemama! Very nice to read your post. I dated and subsequently married a single mother who'd been in a very abusive relationship, and to me she is a precious gem, and I'm lucky to have her.

You may great points, and every husband should have these tattooed on the insides of his eyelids and inscribed on his heart.

Thank you! I look forward to reading more.
